I grew up in New York City, so I don't really have that feeling of wanting to move to Brooklyn and be really really poor for a year before I just have to move back with my tail between my legs. I'm happy just being poor in Austin. BUT... there's this incredible show at TRANSIT tonight with the FRIENDLY FIRES, a band that I fucking love, and boy I wish I was there. Check our their MYSPACE. They really are amazing. Oh, and their album comes out September 1st.
