MONEY WHORES!

Have DJ's always been soo expensive? I mean... it's not really that hard of a job. Sure... producing your own music is very impressive, and if it's good you certainly deserve a nice financial compensation... but when did A-Trak start going for $10,000 dollars? a MOBY Dj set costs around $20 grand. What does JUSTICE get? $30 grand, $50 grand?! I guess the song should have been called M.O.N.E.Y instead of D.A.N.C.E.

What ever happen to DJ's saying, "hey, that sounds like a cool gig, what can you afford?" Like a sliding scale for those who aren't sponsored by crappy car companies. I'm sure some Prince of Saudi, who really liked that one DIPLO song, gladly shells out $10,000 (he costs that much) to hear him play for him and his buddies, but what about us here in little ol' Austin who just want to have a good time?


I guess I'll have to marry a billionaire one day to really have DAFT PUNK play at my house.
