Definitely go to this tonight if you can make it. I saw this movie a few months ago and it has stuck with me ever since. It's the movie that made me like movies again. Three years of film school will make anyone hate them. But yes... go to this. Supposedly you had to RSVP, but I've been to these things, and they aren't ever that full. Here's the trailer.

Such a good movie. I rented in on Netflix. I also just saw his newest movie Goodbye Solo - amazing - you have to see that too.
Man, i meant to see this movie when it was in theaters. I grew up (and still do) go see the Mets play at Shea Stadium, which is literally across the street from Willets Point, where this movie takes place. No one ever pays any attention to what's across the street, and nor did we. Crazy stuff.
