THE BLACK KEYS & ART SPIEGLEMAN

ART SPEGIELMAN is one of my heroes. For one he wrote MAUS, which is by far one of my favorite comics... and also, he was the inventor of the Garbage Pail Kids, which in terms of pop culture significance is up there with Bevis and Butthead. I once saw him speak at UT, and they had to book him as a performance artist, because he would only speak if he could smoke through the whole thing. He must have had two packs of reds in an hour.
