MUSSELS, ROCK: Dr. Dog

I have loved Dr. Dog for a few years now and I wanted the world to know. I asked them to answer a few questions for The Famousish and here it is. Don't forget to check out the awesome remix that Beck did of their song "The Girl".

1. Where is your favorite place to play in Austin? Why?

It's a tie between the "Big Orange " warehouse and Buffalo Billiards so we can watch sports while we play just like everyone else in the place will be doing. No one will pay attention to the music and then we can pay for our own Miller lite.

2. If you had to break a band member's legs in order for the rest of the band to live, which member and why? (If the band is answering these as a group, maybe you should take a blind vote in a hat or something in order to not cause a disturbance. )
Juston( drummer ) because he would still play a show with a broken leg.

3. What's the funniest thing a drunk girl has yelled at you guys during a set? If you couldn't think of any, then make one up.

(A little boy and his father are walking down the street, and they see two dogs having sex.

The little boy asks his father, “Daddy, what are they doing?”

The father says, “Making a puppy. ” So they walk on and go home.

A few days later, the little boy walks in on his parents having sex. The little boy says, “Daddy, what are you doing?”

The father replies, “Making a baby. ”

The little boy says, “Well, flip her around! I'd rather have a puppy. ”)- Drunk Girl

4. Is there any noticeable differences in the new album (FATE) than what we have heard in the past? Maybe new influences that would be a surprise?

We used a honky tonk piano and a crazy piano. This album was created to be synch'ed up with a famous motion picture. We hope that in 10 years stoners will discover which, through experimentation, and reveal the name of said movie to the world.

5. Do you guys have any upcoming shows you'd like to talk about? We are slated to play Saturday Night Live in September 2020. The host will be child actor Ruddiger Pitt-Spears. ( he hasn't been born yet).

6. Finally, thank you so much for the interview. It meant so much to us. Do you have anything that you want to add (i. e. shout outs, etc. ) Our new album is due for release on July 22nd 2008. If anyone in Myspace land has friends in Europe, ask them to come say Hello, or Hola, or Gutentag or Bonjour.
